Radio Univisión 2000. 0110-0140, July 9, confirming
the info by Malm in SWB/DXLD, this is the name for this station,
"...las 8 de la noche con 15 minutos la hora nacional en el
Peru y en tu Radio Univision 2000 que transmite desde la Ciudad
de Soritor, departamento de San Martin, Republica del Peru..."
The annocucer mentioned QTH for reports in Jiron Rioja 720,
but I don't sure that Station's adress, may be personal adress.

Radio
UniVisión 2000,
on 5855.62 kHz, in Moyabamba, Departamento de San Martín (Perú)
June 2000 - 0100 UTC.
A new station which I had as UNID in the previous SWB.
Opening transmission probably June 17.
The DJ still uses a borrowed microphone from his younger brother´s
tape recorder - extremely bad quality of the speech - as well
as he talks very fast and careless. Normal quality of the
music. Often greets people living in the deptartments of Cajamarca
and Amazonas.
Starts at about 1100 UTC and closes at various times between
0100-0300 UTC.
"UniVisión la radio sin fronteras".
Announces the frequency of 5855 kc.
Both address and telephone number is stated, but unfortunately
I only catch that "Amazonas" probably is included in the name
of the street and that the telephone number ends with "43".

This station has also been logged by Colombian DXer
Rafael Rodríguez on June 24, between 2341-0012.
Despite distorted signals, says Rodríguez in Glenn
Hauser's DX Listening Digest, he could get the following details:
The station transmits from Soritor in Moyobamba. They mentioned
the QTH as "Jirón Urubamba a pocos pasos del Jirón
Amazonas en Soritor, Provincia de Moyobamba, Depto. de San
Martín". The also mentioned José Isaías
Bustamante as Gerente- Propietario.
Rodrígues says he was not able to clearly identify
the name of the station, but it seems clear that the name
consists of three syllables, which for the moment reads as
"Uniendo la Radio".
But, adds Rodríguez, "the only parts that are
clear to me are "Un---do la Radio, netamente San Martinense..."
and "Un---do la Radio, la radio que está apuntando
al futuro..." (Rafael Rodríguez, via DXLD on
hcdx list, June 27, 2000)
The
station is similar in name to Radio Univisión Satélite,
an FM station operating on 91.3 MHz with callsign OCW9W from
Nueva Cajamarca, Department of San Martín, and carries its
signal on the vicinity of the frequency on which Radio Nueva
Cajamarca was observed on the drifting frequency range between
5856.8 and 5860 kHz while being active in 1999.
Radio Nueva Cajamarca has not been heard since several months.
So I think that Radio Univisión 2000 has relation to these
broadcasters in Nueva Cajamarca, two hours and 30 minutes
from Moyobamba (very near from Soritor) along the Marginal
Highway, or maybe nothing. (Takayuki Inoue Nózaki, Relámpago
