According to Radio 5264 their transmitter was built
in August 1995 by a radio-engineer in Trujillo. It means that
it is seemingly a new transmitting equipment.
In 1984, Juan Carlos Codina observed an unidentified station
which had made an experimental transmission "calidad de prueba"
on 5264.7 kHz from the Department of Amazonas.
It is very interesting that this unidentified station had
operated near the frequency on which Radio 5264 remained,
and had also existed in the same department. Therefore, It
is doubtful whether the transmitter currently used by Radio
5264 is absolutely new equipment ...
It is quite possible that Radio 5264 is utilizing the second-hand
transmitter which was formerly used by the unidentified shortwaver
                    temporally appeared on 5264.7 kHz.
