Gents,

A few more thoughts on Hawaii reception from San Francisco...830 hasn't 
been heard for 4-5 years, especially since Orange CA increased their 
nighttime power.  940 is blocked by Fresno who is quite strong here.  I 
remember back in the early 90s when I'd drive downtown taking my wife to 
work by 7 a.m.  In the winter I could hear KILA-850-Hilo very easily on 
my car radio as well as the portables I was using at home.  Something 
happened to their transmitter or they changed patterns sometime later as 
they dropped out of sight, never to reappear.
