Re: [Swprograms] Seattle, too...with BBCWS 24/7

Hear! Hear! With all due respect to the program listeners, even at
this late date in the New Millenium shortwave continues to provide a
singular listening experience, and there's still plenty to
hear...music from Latin America, Africa, India and the Middle East as
noted below. I've been scanning 60 meters nightly, and though several
armchair level stations have disappeared over the last few years, low
sunspot conditions and some station reactivations have made for
exciting listening. One night in mid-November the early evening
propagation was astonishing with over 20 stations audible over a one
hour period.

The fact that I rarely see reports about what I'm hearing suggests
that folks have given up on shortwave a bit prematurely.
