I guess, from what you say, that it was a poor copy of the main
Newsworld channel.
The latter is an excellent source of documentaries, mainly from the
U.K. and Canada. Recent greats were "Tribe" and "Holidays from the
Danger Zone--Places That Don't Exist". Both from the BBC, and both
really fascinating stuff.
As the number of quality programmes on radio continue to diminish, I
find myself, a bit surprisingly perhaps, turning more and more to
quality television. There's not much of that out there, mind you, but
there is some.
