Les, I think that most of us have considered the same option of salvaging
what's left of the hobby.  DXing from home for most of us is a lost cause.
Remote DXing may very well be the wave of the future, or for those of us
lucky enough to own rural properties, another option.  I treasure my times
at my cottage on Haida Gwaii, off the NW coast of British Columbia.  Happy
