Randy,
I'd concur with Patrick's list of TPs. The four Japanese on
594/693/747/774 on many days are the only TPs I hear (today being an
example!). The Korean is considerably rarer here, though it's been in a
few times this season.
For DU signals, I've had the best success with 702 Sydney, 774
Melbourne, 891 Adelaide, and 1116 Brisbane. I suspect the 612 Brisbane
station would be more common if it wasn't for a semi-local I have on
610. It hasn't been a good DU season though, and on good TP days the
signals from the Japanese have far exceeded any DU stuff I've had this year.
Regarding timing, my best time has been in the half hour, or sometimes
up to an hour prior to sunrise. I haven't had the coastal experience of
good post-sunrise reception.
