What a difference a day makes! Much better signals from Asia and a return
of some DU activity. A marked dawn enhancement noted. China was coming in
well especially at dawn. Domestic stations were also strong negating some
of the stronger TP activity. Had fun on 972 with HLCA fading down exposing
possibly either Vietnam or Indonesia around 17:00. Another fun freq was
1650 which had Astoria OR and then another emergency station. Saw 9
carriers on that frequency. Overall a very satisfying morning. 73, Walt
