Re: [Swprograms] CBC Hotsheet Latency

> Right after CBC abandoned its shortwave fans of Radio 1, I decided to abandon the CBC Hotsheet subscription I have had for about 10 years. So far I have been unable to do so. Hotsheets continue but are usually received a couple of days after the date covered in each issue. Similarly, my "cancel subscription" requests have been unsuccessful because by the time I receive the secret code string to confirm my intent, the three day period for validation of my request has already expired.

	Scan google groups for
		alt.radio.networks.cbc
		alt.tv.networks.cbc
or use your favourite news/newgroup reader
(often built in to web browsers such as
	Firefox)

You should be able to get to
	http://www.cbc.ca/mycbc/do/newsletter
	to unsubscribe.
However it seems to be a membership-driven system
and you may not have subscribed that way and you
	therefore can't unsubscribe.

If you think you subscribed via your email
account but forgot your 'cbc password',
        go to http://www.cbc.ca/mycbc/do/signin/validate
for a mail-back of your 'cbc password'

	  You might try subscribing on

	         http://www.cbc.ca/mycbc/do/newsletter

and then unsubscribing to see if it takes.
The whole process may take a couple of days
	to confirm you are out.

Hotsheets is far down after Glenn Gould
