I have both .... Sirius that I purchased
and XM that came with my company car.
Other than Major League Baseball, Sirius
is much better. I think the Music Streams
are far superior and WRN rules!!
If you like off colored humor, Howard Stern
start's on Sirius on January 3rd. I'm not sure
if that show will be on in Cnada since they tossed him
off the terrestrial Canadian radio stations.
I live in Southeastern Massachusetts and work in
Rhode Island, so I put 36,000 miles on my vehicle
just going to work. Listening to both for hours I can
state that XM signals are blocked by tree lines and
Highway abutments a hundred times more often
than Sirius. I think this has to do with different
orbits of the satellites. It got tiring listening to XM
with all the drop outs.
In fact 9 out of every 10 SWL'ers that I know who
have satellite radios go with the Sirius.
