When I used to hear The World on WRN, the news actually came from the BBC,
so I suppose it depends upon what station you happen to listen to the
programme. When I was in Washington DC in 2000, I noted that The World was
on the local station WAMU, but I did not get a chance to hear it, and I can
currently not hear WRN programming following the demise of the analogue
signal in 2001.
