  transmitter (Extending the Range)

So come on tell us to increase the range!
I also have the C Crane FM Transmitter for computer
listening.  Unfortumately the signal has a hard time going
around the bend between my office and into my bedroom (doesn't seem to go
thru the single wall), so it doesn't get much use--too much
interference --unless it's turned just right!
C Crane used to include instructions to increase the range with the
predecessor (non Sangean) model.  I've forgotten exactly what they said,
but I improvised on there instructions: I  was took an old broken
off antenna from one of my sangeans and taped it together with the
antenna on the transmiiter (lowest point to lowest point). The tiny
transmitter now had a huge antenna side by side with the
original.  Worked fine.  Don't have any broken antennas or
I'd a tried that!  Guess I'll have to find one!

  are broadcast from
Gabon, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Mauritania in
  the evenings (my time)
and transmit them all over the house to my FM
  radios.
Be advised, if you buy the C. Crane unit, there is an easy tweak to
  increase
its range.  Let me know if you want the details.
I can
listen in my yard with it on.  I sometimes wonder what the neighbors

think is going on, with these mysterious
