Hi Bruce,
I just got a note from Mauno Ritola pointing out that Lhasa isn't in
WRTH (nor could I find it in Alan Davies list; at least not CRI), so
maybe we shouldn't spend sleepless nights trying to hear it, hi.
best wishes,
Nick

Hi Nick
To add to the confusion, the two sites in NE China are probably
directional tho I don't show them as such in the PAL. They're not
all that far apart for co-channel transmitters with hundreds of kw power.
In checking through my email trail, you first brought the Korean
service to my attention back in 2007 after you received it and had
Bill Harms translate the ID. Before that, I had only the Russian
service listed.

Hi Dennis,
I'm afraid I didn't look deeply enough into PAL....there are yet
two more CRI's listed on 1323. Lhasa we can ignore for now (later
in the season perhaps, hi?), but there's another R. Kitaya, in
Shuanghyashan, which is in northeastern China 46 40N, 131 21E, and
is likely the one that Walt and I are hearing these mornings,
especially if it's directional to the Russian Far East. The KK
service is more likely to be real DX for us, if it's directional
into Korea, though of course there may be side lobes. But that's
all speculation on my part.
best wishes,
Nick
