The method of decoding the European DRM signal usually calls for a 12KHz
slice of the IF sent out to a sound card and then special decoding software
used. I've received a request from an engineer in the far east for a
recording of one sideband of IBOC done in this fashion. Is there anyone on
list who could do that and then send me the file? I don't believe simply
tuning a normal radio to a sideband and using something like Total Recorder
will suffice. It needs the downconverted baseband to be recorded. I am not
looking for a recording of the decoded output, but the raw data itself, just
as broadcast.
Thanks in advance!
