[IRCA] TP's for Friday 10/07/11

The best morning for Japanese stations here this season.  Lower channels must better than higher
channels.  1206 kHz China in late and some unknown stations heard too. Will be interesting to
read what others Dxers heard this morning.


153         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii, 1301-1304  good signal with man in Russian.
189         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii, 1305 fair with man in Russian and a little noise.
279         RUSSIA, Radio Rossii, 1306-1307 good signal with two men in Russian.
558         JAPAN, JOCR? 1412-1415 believed to be the station with poor audio at times.
567         JAPAN, JOIK 1348 fair signal with man in Japanese.
594         JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1308 good signal with woman in Japanese.
657         DPR OF KOREA, 1343-1347 fair briefly at 1346 with woman in Korean and
              // 3250.  Good at 1419, better than 3250 //.
666         JAPAN, JOBK 1339 weak Japanese audio for a few seconds with a lot of splatter.
693         JAPAN, JOAB 1420 fair with English Conversation lesson.  Better on SW ewe, less
              splatter from 690.
747         JAPAN, JOIB 1341 good signal with a ton of KXL Splatter.
774         JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1315 good signal with man in Japanese. 
828         JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1319 weak to fair signal with above program.  Good signal at
              1354-1355.
837         UNKNOWN, 1421-1423 poor signal with man in ?.
846         UNKNOWN, 1320-1322 poor to weak signal with man in unknown language.

               Best on High Performance Active Whip.
873         JAPAN, JOGK NHK2 1424 seldom heard Southern Japanese station with weak signal.
936         UNKNOWN, 1358-1400 heard on pip TOH others wipe out by splatter.  Weak at best.
945         CHINA? 1429 weak signal with woman in Asian language.
1053       JAPAN, JOAR 1405-1406 weak with some Japanese audio getting through heavy splatter.
              No sign of the jammer.
1116       UNKNOWN, 1430-1435 weak Asian station with audio at times.
1206       CHINA, 1436-1439 weak at times in unknown language and bothered by IBOC from KEX.
1287       JAPAN, JOHR 1409 woman interviewing man in Japanese.  Fair at times.
1566       REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1324 strong signal low audio.
1575       THAILAND, VOA 1325 weak signal with man in Asian language.
