Not sure why you feel that they wouldn't work, Patrick.  I'm sure that they would, but 320 GB can fill up pretty fast using the Perseus, in any event.  You're going to want to transfer them to an external HD pending your playing with them, or saving for future reference.  My opinion on Costco is that they carry a few decent laptops, but their prices aren't necessarily all that great, nor is the equipment selection very good, nor are they very knowledgeable.  On the other hand, they will take things back for refund or exchange long after most other retailers who won't even look at you after a few weeks (they'll refer you to the customer service of the computer company...good luck there!).  My advice is to research what you want, then price out the various options on-line and make your decision then.  You can always haggle with a local dealer to price match as well.  They should come down to match, I think.  Good luck.  HP, by the way are very nice.  I have one (my most recent!
  laptop) and really like it.  Dell and Lenovo are two other excellent and robust brands.....Walt.
