[IRCA] WTWK 1070 Reply

I received the following reply from the chief engineer of "Eve 1070."
 
I was listening between 5:20 to 6 am on the way to work in my car.
 
They sign on at 6:30 am. 
 
Keep in mind midnight to 6 am is legal testing time. 
 
Maybe this was what I heard.
 
P.S. I think he meant to say 'turn on time.'

Good to hear from DX'ers like you.  WTWK has daytime authority only.  WTWK transmits 5kW daytime and goes off the air during nighttime hours.  The time schedule varies month to month and daylight savings shifts the hours of operation too.  If you heard WTWK during the month of April, our turn off time would be 0730 hrs EST (DST corrected).
