Paul,

Thanks for in insight with the GY classes. I did not realize that. So
any of them could boost power beyond the 1 KW then. Interesting.
   When I first heard KLAM was in 1965 and they were still 250w. They
came on at 7:30 AM and went off at 9:30 AM. Returned to the air at 5PM
and signed off at 10 PM. I don't remember if they were on Sundays
without checking the old QSL. When we left Alaska in 1967, they still
had those hours.  Their little 250w made it fine right across Prince
William Sound to Seward. It was about 150 miles as I remember and all
water. Good all day on gw.
