That's no rant: It's a question that the FCC, unencumbered by any
prior thought, will now have to contend. What exactly to do about
those station licensed prior to this IBOC debacle? An if power
increases are to be granted to them, what about stations that will
now have to contend with greater interference caused by those
stations (e.g. WYSL-1040) who need a power increase just to
break even?

The night-time operations of IBOC may have to be "temporarily"
suspended until this question is answered.

Hummmm.
