Re: [HCDX] Sound of Hope Radio?
Art, What listing is that? Aoki shows SOH with 0.1 kW and as with ALL SOH listings a * next to the frequency, which means accompanied by a hi-power CNR1 jammer, far more likely what you heard. It is necessary to distinguish SOH from CNR1 by //s, programming style, if not understanding Chinese. Otherwise the assumption should be it is a jammer without evidence to the contrary. 73, Glenn Hauser

TAIWAN?
15340.0
kHz Weak signal here in Chinese from 13:55 tune-in to
abrupt fade at
14:06. Initially seemed to be a man in Chinese.
At TOH, fanfare and a
woman anncr. Signal was somewhat better 14:03 - 14:04,
during which it
became clear that the language was Chinese. Only
station I can find
listed here in that time slot is the 1 kW Sound of Hope
Radio from
Taiwan. Other Asian sigs at good levels here during
this time.
