our programs in April. We were very pleased about every letter!Please
remain loyal to Radio SE-TA 2.

Our quarterly program series continues on July 3rd, 2021with our one
hour show called "Let's Go Rock'n Roll".

This time our program is from Nauen via the facilities ofMEDIA BROADCAST
on 6095 kHz with a radiation power of 125 KW.The reception area will be
all of Central Europe.Transmission time will be from 10.00-11.00 UTC
(12.00-13.00 CEST).Further transmission with the same airtime and
frequency is:Saturday, October 2nd, 2021

This item was on the RRI English newscast at 0000 UT July 1, also now on
the RRI website:

"TRANSMITTER Radiocom, the company broadcasting Radio Romania
International's programmes, has announced a new series of repair works
carried out on a transmitter in Tiganesti, close to Bucharest. The
company is stepping up efforts to mend the transmitter and render it
operational by August this year. Unfortunately, the defective
transmitter is presently affecting the RRI English transmissions beamed
to New York, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Australia, the transmissions
in French to Montreal and Central Africa, in Russian to Moscow and
Novosibirsk, in German to Berlin, in Spanish to Mexico, Madrid, Buenos
Aires and Brazil and in Chinese to Beijing."

This transmitter has been out of service for over two months, with
English to NA on 9550 at 0000 and 7375 at 0300 missing during that time.

TAIWAN 13919.989 kHz a fair S=6 signal at 22.50 UT June 29
remotedly on Tokyo SDR unit.
No CNR1 jamming on that channel, but nearby channels in 22 meterband.

13959.992 TWN SOH Mandarin, but also disturbed
by broadband CODAR signal in this area. S=6 at 22.40 UT

13889.971 SOH TWN at 22.52 UTC.

13870even CHN CNR1 S=9 signal. and co-channel on odd
13869.923 kHz SOH TWN Mandarin at 22.53 UT.

13840.009 NZL R NZ Pacific pop music in prgress at 22.55 UT,
not as strong as expected, S=5 or -96dBm signal.

13760.208 KRE Voice of Korea D.P.R. Spanish signal S=9+20dB in Hiroshima
Japan.

13670.029 TWN SOH Mandarin at 22.58 UTC. Poor S=3-4

July 1st is Canada Day, and since RCI is no longer blessing shortwave listeners with its presence on the short waves, Fred Waterer, a genuine Canadian, and “Uncle Bill” Tilford, an American who is frequently mistaken for one, will present  Canada D’eh, an affectionate salute to the occasion with music, humor, fun facts and stories on WBCQ The Planet, which is right next door to Canada with time donated by Angela and Allan Weiner.

We are delighted to announce that our shortwave transmission from Kimje,
South Korea will be normalized after a three week test transmission
starting at 0400 UTC on July 8th, 2019. We thank you for your patience
during the past year.

Our English programming on 9785 kHz that was initially moved to
1800-2100 UTC due to a transmitter problem will be back on 1400-1700 UTC
at a stronger output of 250 kW.

Listeners who tune into our programs on 11810 kHz and 15575 kHz can also
expect to enjoy better reception since the current 100 kW transmitter
will be replaced by a 250 kW transmitter.

Please be sure to tune into KBS World Radio during the test transmission
period and send us your reception reports. Your feedback will help us
find ways to improve your listening experience.
