Hi Rob (and Saul),

<<<ÂÂ Garyâ.We'll have 'em all converted before you know it!!! HAHAâThere's still a few Stubborn Holdouts thoughâââ.ÂÂ >>>
Â
Well, Rob, you would be surprised to know how manyÂPerseus-SDR DXers areÂactually subscribing toÂour Ultralightdx list-- and maybe even have a PL-380 hidden away somewhere.
Â
But DX is DX, and we all face the same propagation challenges. Like Saul mentioned, Ultralight radios are very convenient to check daily propagation during DXpeditions, and to check the band during travel opportunities. And when you are on a wildÂocean cliff in the middle of a hurricane, which would you rather risk... a $90 hot-rodded Ultralight, or a $1000+ Perseus?
Â
73, Gary
