RUSSIA
This refers to the report that Vesti FM (a Russian national news network) is now being relayed on three mediumwave frequencies in Ukraine:
1089 (Tbilissakaya, Krasnodar)
1215 (Bolshakovo, Kaliningrad) and
1413 (Grigoriopol, Moldova)
These are all well-known high-power MW VoR outlets.

Hmm..I think I have to put down the NE phased BOGs again and try for this. There's basically no QRM from 1090 when KAAY is phased out here near Chicago. I had 1215 in RR a few times when TA cx rocked a few years ago mixed with UK/Spain.
Jim...re: your antenna. Wasn't that a big flag (rectangle shape) that I designed for you after the Batavia convention a few years ago? I also thought that your bottom wire was high off the ground so you could walk and mow under it. But this winter has been so bad that things could come down.
