[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-18

Hello All,

The Asian signals weren't quite up to yesterday's standard this morning, although a few low band TP's did manage some interesting signals. Sunrise enhancement was pretty much of a fizzler, though, causing the band to suffer an early demise around 1415.

At the 1305 start of the session several low band Asians were already managing fair audio in and out, including 594-JOAK, 603-HLSA, 648-VOR, 657-Pyongyang and 747-JOIB. The 1053-Jammer and 1566-HLAZ were also having good peaks in and out around 1310, and the band seemed to show some promise during the predawn darkness. At 1308 the Chinese language program from 648-VOR rose up out of the noise to reach the best level the station has managed during the new year (fair), while 972-HLCA and 1134-KBS joined the other big guns (594-JOAK, 693-JOAB and 747-JOIB) producing fair to good audio around 1330. On the high band 1377-CNR1, 1503-JOUK and 1593-CNR1 started coming out of the noise with fair audio shortly after 1330, but from this point on most of the Asians seemed to taper off somewhat as daylight appeared. 603-HLSA was a noticeable exception, though, seeming to get a boost with the daylight to manage fair to good audio around the 1400 TOH (without its usual Chinese co-channel).!
Around 1410 even HLSA seemed to lose steam, though, diving into the noise prematurely with the other Asians around 1415. The session wasn't very memorable, although 648-VOR's fair signal at 1308 was the best that the station has managed here since early November.
