[IRCA] What's up with radio anyway?

Some great dialog lately about the future of AM and FM radio.

How we all say, "It's here to stay!"

Sadly we cannot say that about SW Radio -- but aspects of the SW spectrum
(Like
Amateur radio -- and SW listening/DXing...) are very much alive and going
away no time soon.

Another interesting observation I have been making this year is the number
of young people approaching me interested in Amateur Radio AND SWLing!

I kid you not -- in the last couple of months I have had numerous folks
UNDER
the age of 30 ask me about how to get into radio listening.

I am humbled, inspired and enthralled - and almost ready to
jokingly suggest, "Get lost and COME Back when you are grown up!"
