Today was a definite improvement over the past couple of days. Things
are at least trending in the right direction.
A few interesting carriers almost produced audio today: 846 864 918 936
1035 1044 1143 1179 1188 1341 1377 1386 1422 1449 1503 1512 and 1602 to
name to standouts.
Good - portions of it would be understandable by a native speaker
972 KBS, the usual KK chatter and pop tunes 1326
1575 VOA, man in SEA language 1413-1419, just a sporadic carrier earlier
Fair - a few words or phrases would be understandable
693 JOAB, EE lessons 1329, switching to CC lessons which peaked 1334
774 JOUB, KK lessons 1410
Incomprehensable
594 JOAK, weak talk 1302
648 VoR, faint talk in 650 splatter 1305
747 JOIB, faint talk 1331 & 1404
828 JOBB time pips 1300
890 KBBI, woman talking u/CJDC 1402, not understandable but I
recognized the announcer's voice(!)
981 CNR1, pips 1400, CC talk, faint strains of their theme song
1400:40, poor in CKNW splatter
1017 woman talking 1416 too weak to ID language but presumably CRI in KK
1206 weak talk 1412 on 1205.96, assumed to be Yanbian
1242 JOLF, weak JJ talk 1406
1287 JOHR, weak JJ talk 1403
1314 faint talk 1405, sounded like JJ
1323 faint talk 1408
1557 weak talk 1410, possibly Taiwan
1566 HLAZ, 1346 CC talk weak
