Listened from 1410-1550 utc. Reception started out slow with just long wave stations received. Conditions picked up at 1515 and continue to 1545 utc. None of the lower Japanese powerhouse stations with audio this morning, the only Japanese station heard was JOUK 1503 kHz.  Last years to date receptions for 12/12/2011 listed on bottom of page. 

153     RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1410 fair  signal with man in Russian HPAW. 12/12/2012


189     RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1411 fair signal with man in Russian. HPAW. 12/12/2012


209     ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1412 fair signal with weather forecast. HPAW. 12/12/2012 


738     TAHITI, Papeete, Radio Polynesie 1436 poor signal with bits of audio. Heavy splatter. W-SW ewe. 12/12/2012


972     REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Dangjin, HLCA   HLCA KBS Hanminjok Bangsong 1544 weak signal with woman in Korean and music. NW ewe. 12/12/2012


1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1546 poor signal with bits of Japanese making it through. NW ewe. 12/12/2012


1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1515 very weak signal with man in Chinese. Good signal 1536 with man in Chinese. NW ewe. 12/12/2012


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1536 fair signal with woman in Asian language. W-SW ewe. 12/12/2012

189      RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1459 very weak with talk.  Heard pips at 1500, then sign off.
279      RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1454 weak signal with music and talk.  + Fair signal 1258 with computer type music.  Radio Rossii ID.
639      CHINA, CNR1 1510-1515 weak signal in and out with Chinese.  Top Chinese signal here this season.  KFI fades out before sunrise and this certainly helps.
774      JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1455 weak to fair signal with woman in Japanese. Fair signal at 1536 with talk.  
828      JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1456 poor signal with above program.
1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1508 weak signal with woman in Chinese.  Still around with Chinese program at 1535 and good to fair signal.
