[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Monday, September 17, 2012

Listened from 1219-1336 utc. Conditions down this morning especially Japanese stations. JOIB 747 never produced any audio this morning here. No tier two Japanese stations heard. On the DU reception list, Tahiti 738 was a no show, but 2NR 738 was in and also 4RN was heard early at 1250 and latter at 1321. China 639 CNR1 was heard, but CNR1 1593 was not. Only two stations on the upper channels heard, lower channels have dominated here the past week. Have a nice Monday.

189    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1247 weak signal with music. HPAW. 09/17/2012

209    ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1229 very weak with weather forecast. HPAW. 09/17/2012

279    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1230 poor with music. Still poor signal 1241. HPAW 09/17/2012

594    JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1302 weak signal rising to fair. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 09/17/2012

603    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA weak with man/woman in Korean. NW ewe. 09/17/2017.

639    CHINA, CNR1 1308 fair signal with man in Chinese. Moderate splatter from KFI. NW ewe. 09/17/2012

693    JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1242 very weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 09/17/2012

738    AUSTRALIA, 2NR 1329 man in English. In and out weak signal. Matched ABC North Coast NSW live stream.

774    JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1232 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 09/17/2012


792    AUSTRALIA, 4RN ABC National 1250-1252 very weak with two men in English. Matched live stream. Fair briefly at 1321 with music. SW ewe. 09/17/2012
