Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] On the nature of DX Alerts

As someone who's been in this hobby over 45 years I am shocked that some people are upset at Paul and think that he did the wrong thing in alerting his friend the CE ! In all honestly and while stating this may lose me a couple friends or even make a couple new enemies, I am ashamed that anyone is chastizing Paul.

Just what is Paul to do, when he knows that KHMO doesn't want to be using day power and pattern at night? Is he supposed to not call his friend so DXers can try to log the station that doesn't want to be erroniously using day rig?

So many stations cheat blatantly and every night and here's one that doesn't and wants to correct an error, and a couple people have taken Paul to task.

Looks what's happened now..as there will be several DX tests as a result of Paul's call to correct a malfunction.

Paul, it is a pleasure to know you and thanx for being a friend of DXers.

It was painful and hard to read criticizms, of Paul, in this regard.
