[IRCA] TP for 14 Mar from Victoria, BC

Not nearly as interesting as yesterday morning, not as many signals, and not as strong, though one always wonders whether the peak occurred before the radio was turned on. Started at 1410UT, and by 1420, things were definitely going downhill, yet there were occasional peaks after that. Lower band signals were the best today.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK
774 JOUB
972 HLCA at 1422UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK //594
747 JOIB
828 JOBB

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker

558 HLQH //603 w/mx at 1427UT, not there earlier
603 HLSA mx; //558 later
666 JOBK //594
873 JOGB //774
1287 likely JOHR

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

846 possibly //594; JOQK if so
1044 seemed //7410 w/talk, so CRI w/ JJ service
1242 likely JOLF
1566 HLAZ; strong carrier w/slight SAH

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

639, 936, 1008

best wishes,

Nick
