[IRCA] TPs for 9-6-09 - really good conditions
This was my best morning yet for TPs. I set up the SDR to record 190
kHz segments 15-20 minutes at a time from 1150 to 1330. This time I
started at the top and went to the bottom of the dial, missing only the
540-600 portion of the band. I can't say thunderstorms were a problem
for me like they were for Colin and Walt - but I did notice the noise
level go up and down a few times when I scanned the files.
Anyway, here are the things I heard this morning:
Great signal, nice audio - JOIB-747, JOUB-774, KENI-650, KNOM-780
OK audio for a few minutes - 1575, 1377(CC), 972, 936(unid lang),
KICY-850??(relig pgm mixing w/KHHO), 828 JO, 693 JO, KGTL-620 (50's pop
& legal ID o/u KPOJ), KDLG-670 (BBC relay & legal ID o/u KBOI at 1300),
KFQD-750 (u/KXL this morning)
Weak audio when it peaked - 1566 1278 1287(JJ) 657(KK tirade)
Carriers, even if heard briefly and/or weakly - 1557 1422 1413 1386 1269
1215 1206 1188 1134 1125 1107 1098 1053 1035 1026 927 918 855 846 837
756 738 675 666
