Re: [IRCA] (OT) Re: Wi-Fi legality

Russ,

DSL is not available here! If I want DSL, I was told by Qwest (Telephone
company) that it would cost me $1500 to get it to my house. My choices
are Cable (noise issue), satellite (rainfade/storm issues), or 28.8 dial
up. In reality Web TV is not all that slow for regular e mail. It takes
longer to download on the computer than it does to go somewhere on Web
TV, since there is no hard drive. If the file is too big, like some
attachments, I have issues. But, turn on the TV, turn on Web TV, I am at
my homepage in 15 seconds and typing e mails in another 30 secords. I
cannot warm up the computer that fast. If I want something more with Web
TV, there is the MSN 2 box. That is kind of like a mini computer as it
does much more. That box is much newer and is still MSN. I have the MSN
1 box now, faster and better than the originial Web TV box. I still have
the Web TV box as a backup. So with three computers, MSN1, and Web TV, I
have plenty of internet boxes, but my issue still comes down to high
speed and virus issues.
