Does anyone know if newer HDTV sets, which don't need the converter box, also give off a lot of noise, via either direct radiation and/or up the power lines?
Kevin:I have a Pioneer plasma HDTV receiver and it does put out a lot of noise. As I never use the digital tuner I can't say if it's coming from that part of the receiver. I'm the only one here that uses it, and never when I'm DXing, so the noise is not a problem for me.
