Re: [IRCA] The WJZ calls return to radio

Paul:

For the uneducated or ill-informed (like me), tell me what is not leagl
about the ID. Is it the fact that they said "WJZ-AM" and not WJZ? I
heard "WJZ-AM Baltimore..." I thought call and city was all that was
required. What do I know. :)

I am guessing that one local FM broadcaster's "legal ID" is definitely
NOT legal. It is 97.1 Hank FM / WLHK 97.1 Shelbyville-Indianapolis.
There are two, that go a little somethin' like this: "This is WLHK
Shoobydoo-Indianapolis, all my ex's live in Shelbyville," or "This is
WLHK Shoobydoo-Indianapolis. We like Hank." Honestly, they are a
pretty cool country station but the coolness should not used for a legal
ID. :)

Only me and one other person on this list that I can think of would
nitpick....

But technically, that Legal ID isn't legal.
