[IRCA] Modified E100 Ultralight TP's for 9-6-- Great to Japan

Hello Guys,

With conditions restored, the Japanese were booming in here (4 miles
from salt-water Puget Sound), providing a couple of new Ultralight TP loggings.

Around 1255 the band was already pretty lively, with the Japanese
powerhouses of 594, 747, 774 and 828 easily audible on the modified ICF-2010
spotting receiver (30" loopstick). HLCA-972 joined them shortly thereafter. But
at the maximum dawn enhancement around 1310, a couple of the weaker Japanese
came up in audio enough to be heard on the modified E100 (7.5" Slider
loopstick and Murata narrow filter), for all-time new Ultralight loggings:

558 JOCR Kobe, Japan (weak but clear Japanese audio at 1310)

666 JOBK Osaka, Japan (fair signal with NHK1 program at 1309)

Other than these, the high band signals seemed rather anemic, and 1566
and 1575 were not as strong as usual.

Congratulations also to Colin on receiving his first stock Ultralight
radio TP, JOIB-747. Now perhaps Colin will better understand the raving
excitement of the Ultralight radio enthusiasts who are making dxer.ca one of the
world's prime AM-DX hobby venues.

     73, Gary
