Barry,
The ewe design parameters are not critical. It just happened that the two
support trees were 40 feet apart with first limb at 18'. I used a variable
resistor to establish best resistance and measured the resistance with ohm
meter. I then paralleled 4 .5 watt resistors of suitable resistance to
arrive at target resistance and sealed them in a short piece of pvc which
was sealed at each end with wire leads protruding at each end; one to
ground, the other to the antenna. I think you will be pleased with what you
have for distance and height.
