Re: [IRCA] I-5 TIS/HAR LISTENING

Patrick,

I also am shocked that you heard and QSLed the Fort Lewis TIS/HAR
station on 1500, especially because I have yet to log it from my home QTH of
Puyallup, 15 miles away!

When a southbound I-5 traveler first spots a sign for the 1500 station
(North Fort Lewis), its signal is wispy and weak, unlike the WSDOT stations
which are always strong before a sign appears. After passing through Fort
Lewis, the signal is long gone before Lacey, east of Olympia.

Your DX location and antennas are truly amazing...

                73, Gary
