Living on the rural coast does make a difference. In your case and mine,
the distance from the 50KWers helps and away from noise. I must admit
using the vertical for a bandscan doesn't bring in everything the other
antennas do. Like with the SW EWE, the Coastal stations are dominant or
on top in most cases like KBCH-1400-Lincoln City and KDUN-1030-Reedport.
Plus KGO & KNBR are alone on those channels, just to name a few.
