Yes, Don I agree. The old tube type radios were the best, and conditions
were better. Not so many stations crammed into to few frequencies.
>From Texas I logged a lot of great small power stations, and my best DX that
I have a QSL from was KORL-650 while WSM was off. But I believe in time we
will see those days return. When the economy fails, in the near future, and
stations do not have the money to stay on the air, they will clear up the
air waves.
