Re: [IRCA] TA WCNA

Dozens of MW TA carriers in here this evening Nick, with 11 producing audio.
Unfortunately most were very weak, and domestics were very strong, so IDing
them was a challenge. 1215-UK was easy, and the best signal of all, plus the
Virgin Radio IDs kinda helped. 909-UK was easy too as this was the BBC. 837
and 864 were parallel to each other with a man and woman speaking French, so
had to be France. 756 was Classical music and probably Germany. 531 was
playing various types of music from soft rock thru jazz. No speech at TOH so
I'm not sure who it was, but probably Switzerland. 1134 was very faint and
probably Croatia. 684, 756, 828, 1035 and 1116 all had faint audio, but no
idea of who they were. Carriers went as high as 1575. On long wave only 189
produced audio and 153 had a faint carrier.

Mike in St Isidore, AB with AOR 7030+, Quantum Phaser, EWE's of 110' & 125',
28' vertical and longwires of 1000' and 300'.
