[IRCA] KPAM?

The evening of October 25 was exciting here, with great conditions to the west
(if you could ignore the distraction of TAs!). Along with some more common
western stations (CKLQ-880, CJGX-940, CHRB-1140), I heard CKWX-1130 and
CKST-1040, both new here, CKMX-1060 (previously only a tentative logging),
and relogged stations such as KTNN-660, CFFR-660 and CHQR-770. I also had a
station on 1090 that seemed to be // to the XEPRS online stream, but it
wasn't good enough to be sure.
The big prize, however, was on 860. Coming up to 2130 EDT, I had a station
under CJBC with a talk show and a female host. They disappeared abruptly
just past 2129. KPAM's October power/pattern change time is 2130 EDT (while
actual sunset time at the tx site is around 2105, leaving a good window of
opportunity), and they carry the Victoria Taft talk show at that time. I had
a listen to some clips of her show online later, and I'm almost certain that
she is the one I was hearing. If there are audio archives of her show
available somewhere, that would really help nail it, but I haven't found any
indication of that. A clip of my reception (about 1 min, recorded at
2128-2129) is available at
http://topazdesigns.com/ambc/audio/unid-860-2129-25oct06.wav
Maybe someone who's familiar with Ms Taft's show could take a listen and tell
me what you think (btw, it's a low bit rate WAV file because I've found that
MP3 encoding doesn't do a great job on files with this low a bit rate).
If I decide to count it (and I'm leaning that way, at least as a tentative
logging), KPAM would be state #48 here! Unfortunately, conditions here have
been on a slow downhill slide since the 25th, and I suspect that I won't get
another good shot at them this month.
TIA,
Barry
