Re: [IRCA] TP down 22Oct06

>Slept in a bit today so monitored only between 14:23 and 15:52. Only 7 audios: 594 (NHK1), 747 and 774 (NHK2 with the latter a solid 7. Note: 828 was inaudible...only a 3/10), 972 (Korea presumed but only a 6), 1287 (my highlight with JOHR there at a 7.5/10 rating at 14:35 and still there with decent signal at 14:50 and still there weakly as I type at 14:55), 1422, and finally as Nick pointed out 1475. I had audio, Nick. Again, I could hear this Malaysian on virtually every setting of my K9AY, and others cut for SW. It was just there, seemingly coming from all directions! On my Icom 756Pro2 it was fun to watch how the signal equaled 1470 and 1480 in strength, but the modulation must be very low since it was next to impossible to hear any content. They were there in audio, though for sure. I recorded a segment to check later for anything identifiable. Interesting 1287 has just faded up to a near 7 at 14:59!

Make that 8 audios: At 15:02 828 had a nice 7 signal with NHK2 sign-off........Walt.
PS: From this end, my posting above took about 6 minutes to get back to me from the IRCA server.
