Re: [IRCA] A Message from Scott Bailey, GM/CE WMRO-AM, Gallatin, TN

Powel,

When we did stay up on 1 KW and everyone else would be at 250w, it did
help. If we were doing a ball game 30 miles away, the station could be
heard by the local people and sponcers. Of course today the station is
fulltime ESPN, now KKEE. Also being 1 KW fulltime, the station can't
boost the signal up if need having only the 1 KW transmitter. I guess
they could tie the ond 250w together putting out 1250 watts, but I doubt
that would do much good. hi.
