Re: [IRCA] Pirate on 6925??

Most likely a pirate "WMPR".  I've heard WMPR a number of times with heavy metal or techno-rock, voice-synthesized canned IDs and little in the way of DJ talk such as a maildrop address for QSL reports.  Also poor, tinny modulation.

6925  WNBR??  1935EDT.  QTH unknown. May be a pirate. Playing the worse sounding junk noise you can imagaine. ID at 1935 EDT. Any one know if this is a real station or a pirate? Signal is S9+30db. The call is hard to understand as their modulation is crappy. It may be WNPR or WMBR. [WM-TN]
