Re: [IRCA] WWKB 1520 Buffalo changes format

Karl,

You are right "Real Radio" is gone. At least in most markets. KKSN 910
Portland advertises it as the "Classic KISN". They are no more KISN
than I am the Man In the Moon. If a station wants to be that Classic
Format, then bring back the real DJs, the contests, the sound that once
was. No one does that. They play some oldies and call themselves the
classic station. I would love to hear just one station "Really" bring
back the DJs from yester-year and make it a-go. I think 1690 Chicago has
done that to a certain amount. But since I rarely hear them, I can't
tell too much. But no stations are going to really bring back the sound
as the cost that is involved. It is easier and cheaper just to hook up
to some satellite service.
