Curt,

I see what you mean. Maybe leaving in the A+B position, you can adjust
the two antennas independantly. In that case it might be what I am used
to with the MFJ with no switch. It is like the carousel  switching the
R8 had and a lot of the people did not like it. I got used to it and it
was never an issue. I guess it is a personal thing. But the loss is an
issue.
