[IRCA] TP 26 Oct Victoria version.
As others have noted, this morning was a step back from the madness of the last morning or two. Still not bad, just not mad, I guess. No real sunrise peak around 1425UT either.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1403UT with city temperatures
639 CNR1 woman in Chinese, 1441UT
747 JOIB English lessons 1411UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1401UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1405UT more on Radio Taiso
972 HLCA man in Korean,1410UT, peaking at this time
1575 VoA man in SE Asian language 1359UT, across hour, no English ID, but did mention "V-O-A"
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
567 JOIK man and woman in Japanese 1405UT
603 HLSA woman's ballad 1404UT //558
666 JOBK woman talking to man on phone //594 1418UT

1323 CRI fading up to "Radio Kitaya" ID at 1400UT
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese briefly peaking at 1423UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

693 JOAB singing and humming //774 1402UT

1134 KBS man and woman in Korean 1359UT fading down to 3 and 1 pips (the short ones somewhat longer than NHK)
1287 JOHR man and woman in Japanese 1402UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)
531 JOQG woman //594 1417UT
612 JOLK man and woman talking //567 1437UT
621 quiet music 1429UT, no parallel; fits Heilongjiang RGD?
675 woman talking, not //594, and rather an oriental sound, Vietnam? 1405UT
711 woman talking, sounded Chinese rather than Korean 1430UT
729 JOCK man talking //594 1427UT
837 slow music , accompanied by woman talking, Chinese intonation 1417UT
1017 island vocals mixing with presumed CRI 1412UT
1044 CRI? woman talking, Japanese intonation 1410UT
1053 female ballad 1354UT, JOAR?
1143 Taiwan Fisheries, woman talking //738 1406UT
1206 female vocal, oriental sound with high notes 1416UT
1242 JOLF wman talking, Japanese intonation 1407UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)
819 846 855 864 909 936 1008 1035 1089 1152 1188 1215 1251 1269 1278 1305 1332 1341 1359 1458 1503 1593 seemed to be Asian;
nothing much seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
