After repairing my North directed corner fed loop yesterday in the pouring
rain....new wire, rechecked the 16:1 matching transformer, and replaced the
coax... there wasn't an hint of any TA activity last night, and by latter
in the evening, Kiribati on 846 was only there very weakly. A
disappointment for sure! Wondering whether Craig heard anything. There
may be hope. When things are wiped out hear, I still often hear a lot of
different things when I'm in Masset.....Walt Salmaniw
