Subject: [IRCA] AM loggings from 1100 UTC 26-Aug-2018, during G3 storm
and
sunrise enhancement
General notes for 1100 UTC on 26-Aug-2018:
G3 geomagnetic storm in progress. Also, semi-local t-storms at the
time,
which pretty much killed the bottom third of the band. Local sunrise
was
1104 UTC. So not only did I have auroral conditions, but also sunrise
enhancement.
Antenna: 140' D-Kaz aimed south
Radio: Perseus receiver
Software for spectrum recording: HDSDR (was trying out the new beta)
Location: Northern Indiana (Goshen / en71ao)
All new logs unless noted. All 1058-1100 unless noted.
