As reported earlier another exceptional Chinese propagation wave hit the low band this morning, producing the best-ever signals here from 603-China (Hulun Buir?) and 639-CNR1 during sunrise enhancement. The pre-sunrise boost raised up quite a few other obscure Chinese, and was even more potent than the one two days ago (which managed to inspire Nick's report of legendary length).
A routine band check at the bizarre hour of 1220 revealed Chinese-dominated mixes on both 603 and 657, which is highly unusual in the predawn darkness. 603-China dominated HLSA at an S5 level until around 1410, when the Korean station temporarily took over for a short period only to be buried again as daylight increased. 657-China (Henan?) held off Pyongyang BS' martial music until around 1400, but lost out after that, and never reached its strength of two days ago. 639-CNR1 came out of nowhere during sunrise enhancement to blast in at an S9 level around 1450 (managing its best-ever signal here by quite a wide margin). while weaker Chinese signals on 756 and 936 came into play along with others (which didn't get much FSL time before propagation tanked around 1515). Altogether it was another wild and wacky session-- which I'm sure will inspire Nick to write up another legendary report.
603 China (Hulun Buir?) Chinese female speech at a strong level at 1431 during sunrise enhancement (after drowning out HLSA) https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/e8164klcgkw1evv0bufhn6g0ut4jgmdh
Chinese male vocal music at a good level all alone at 1433 (HLSA temporarily MIA) https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/wzplqtbx4n3rmkr9bm3gfxwq0803l9p8
603 HLSA Namyang, S. Korea Buried under China for almost all of the three hour session, the Korean female host managed to escape the Chinese co-channel for a very brief time around 1412 (before the first sign of daylight)https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/vic9l2k7ti20bxv9ndc9jlnzjvfwbe0c
639 CNR1 Synchros Female speech at an S9 level at 1454; its strongest signal ever here This signal came out of nowhere during sunrise enhancement https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/dn8h4sbwco01mvyasa1859d0eiv1q8vh
657 Pyongyang BS Sunrise enhancement favored North Korean's "unique" music at 1439 this morning, despite the fact that China (Henan?) was dominant in the predawn darkness (Pyongyang's 1,500 kW seems to help). Two days ago the opposite occurred, though https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/29brlrgbj4dzu687bsnenbw9ryy6liym
